Dear Karen and Donald,
When we gave Bernd Schulze Karen"s solo CD and her autographed note, he broke into a big smile from ear to ear. He has fond memories of his work with Capercaillie for Grampian.

P.S.:
Please let us know if you will be in the Pacific NW
on the 30th anniversary tour.

Please come to America. I am 57 and I guess the DNA will out. I find myself hungering more every day for music like yours. When I was younger, it was singer songwriters of the day such as James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Joan Baez, Peter Paul and Mary, but nothing speaks to my inner flame as does traditional Scottish Gaelic music. I don"t understand a word you are saying, and strangely enough, it makes me feel embarrassed and proud at the same time. I am certain that if you come to America, you will put bedrock under the feet of the people who live here who are a part of what you represent, it"s time we all remembered, please help us to do so. I am your biggest fan at 235 lbs :-) Seriously you are needed here.

Have just come across you on tv, and love your voice and the music. We"ll be travelling 600 miles to be in Badachro from 16-28th June, and would love to hear you were playing somewhere nearby. That would make our hols complete :-) Keeping fingers crossed

Heard you for the first time two nights ago with your lovely version of "Ae Fond Kiss" seen on youtube with Paul Brady. This was through my music teacher, Terre Roche, and now I"m trying to learn this vocally tricky, and beautiful song. Hope one day to hear you in concert, here in the U.S. or in Scotland.
All the best.

Hello Karen,
I am a Mexican woman living in England. I saw and heard you for the first time ever on television in one of the BBC Transatlantic Sessions (4-5 years ago).I immediately felt under the spell of your beautiful voice and your great personality. I also fell in love with Scottish music. Since then I have been wanting to see you in concert. I just missed you in Nottingham, where I live. I am so annoyed about it that I decided not let it happen again, so I joined your mailing list and your guestbook. By the way, that Transatlantic Session was recorded in Killiecrankie, which I visited with a friend because of you and that programme. Now I am determined to see you live. Checking on the tour dates on internet the next concert is in Glasgow on 13 June. But your recent one in Nottingham on 29 Feb does not appear on the internet. Do you have any other concerts scheduled in England before June? I agree completely with that person who said you have the voice of an angel.

Great concert last night at The Met. Thanks to Karen and the members of the band (and not forgetting the technical guys!). We had a really enjoyable evening, thanks to you all.
My wife particularly liked the Rabbie Burns songs as she is Ayrshire born.
I was surprised you didn"t have a percussionist with you, but you got away with it very well. just one or two of the faster songs might have benefitted from a bodhran.
Looking forward to the new album. God bless.

Fantastic gig last night in Buxton, Derbyshire. I felt like i was in the set of the 80s film Cocoon sitting in that audience!. I think I may have been the youngest there

We managed to get front row seats again which made the gig even better

More More!!
