I am part of a small studio for making DVDs. We are in the process of creating a wildflower DVD of Eastern Oregon USA and your song "Puirt A Beul" matches the upbeat tone we want to support the photos and video we have of our beautiful wildflowers. How would I go about contacting you to see if we could use the song and what it would cost. Thanks you. Linda Bauck lbauck@gmail.com rose schrader <tourishr@hotmail.com> Wednesday 20th January 2010 Hello and I hope all is well!! You have the most beautiful voice and I wanted to know if there are any US tour dates planned? My 4 year old daughter LOVES your music and has asked to see you live. Hopefully we will get to see you in concert here in the US. Have a great new year!!! Rose William Craig Sunday 17th January 2010 Hello Karen, you probably don"t remember me but i met you back in 91 at the Tarbet Music Festival when Capercaillie were performing with, amongst others,Dougie Maclean,Patsy Seddon and Mary Macmaster.I told you then that i thought you possessed a better voice than Maire Brennan, her sister Patricia{Enya} and Mary Black and i still stand by that statement.Sounds corny ,i know, but i mean it.Unfortunately, due to varying circumstances and what not,i have not been able to see you perform live since all those years ago,but i hope to rectify that in the near future. Thats all so all the best to you and yours for the future. Ledeagh Dhurachd again. Bill Craig. David Parker <clanparker@aol.com> Friday 15th January 2010 hi Karen I live in the same village as Anne-Marie Heighway. I and some friends play folk music around our area (mainly English - mea culpa) We love your music and would like to do a couple of Capercaillie songs Seinneam Cliu Nam Fear Ur and An aitar achd ard. Can we get a phonetic version of the words somehow??? Thx that would be really great if we could Zappa <camel@zappatransport.ch> Wednesday 30th December 2009 Hi Karen We are waiting for this beautiful voice to hear it on stage some day in switzerland, would be wonderful. Your voice is beautiful, and your music, both with Capercaillie and your solo work, is great. I"m an American with a fair amount of Scottish Celtic heritage, and I love hearing that Gaelic language; it speaks to my soul, even though I don"t speak it or know how to write it yet. If I knew where to find a course on it, I would love to learn the language, although finding someone here to speak it with might be a challenge. Best wishes to you for your career, and your family too.
