I just wanted to say that you are great, I really love your voice! I heard you for the first time in "l"héritage des celtes" with Dan Ar Braz. Since I listened to this CD, Canan Nan Gaidheal is one of my favourite songs. I don"t know if you will read these words but I hope. (Excuse me if I made some mistakes, I"m not fluent in English...) Thank you. Sarge <barbudos@gmail.com> Friday 2nd October 2009 Greetings! I have suddenly heard Your songs on youtube, and it is really very deeply impressed me. I like very much all the celtic, especially celtic music. But Your performance is something outstanding. Thanks and Good Luck to you, Karen! gavin <gheys@msn.com> Friday 25th September 2009 I have just been spellbound by your version of Lassie wi the lint-white locks. I mean it....spellbound. I have just spent the evening watching it over and over on Transatlantic on BBC. Music is a big part of my life but rarely does it touch me as much as this did. How have I got to my 40s and not found your voice before? Really, really special...I hope it is released. Patrick Berrie <gael0840@gmail.com> Saturday 15th August 2009 Hi! Karen I am studying Gaelic because I learned that I am about 75% Celtic - 60% Scottish and 10% Irish. Love your music and have been downloading the lyrics to your songs in the movie Rob Roy. Having a lot of trouble finds Morag"s Lament, though. Patrick Rob Leary Wednesday 1st July 2009 Hi Karen, even though I don"t speak Gaelic it is such a beautiful language to me. When you sing in Gaelic I just love it. Because of this I would like to give you something in return for the joy you give me. I have several photos of you from the web and since I am amongst other things a photographer and use Photoshop, I would like to email you some upgraded versions as a gift. Of course to do this I need your email address, because I can"t attach them to this message. My email is robnz@bordernet.co.nz. Kind regards, and wishing you well, Rob billh <cft-iheggie@supanet.com> Tuesday 21st July 2009 Hi. Just wanted to say how much I admire your singing, particularly the Gaelic material. So, fingers crossed, can we expect to see you at venues in the NE of England, preferably Newcastle area, in the near future? Please! Arthur Bresnahan Busbey <a.busbey@tcu.edu> Tuesday 7th July 2009 In listening to two versions of Canan nan gaidheal by Karen there are two different ways of pronouncing cluinn (in the refrain Gus an cluinn sinn...). In one the c is silent (sounds like "line") and in another it is pronounced (sounds like "kline"). Are these both acceptable ways of saying the word in Scotts gaellic? Thanks. Barry Lynn Beard (Macabhaird) <frittercritter@stealthaccess.net> Sunday 5th July 2009 Karen, Your instrument is truly a gift from God.
